What to expect when setting up a photo shoot with sky drone media.

For ground photo / video

Strategy call

We here at Sky Drone Media like to start things off with a strategy call. During this call we will discuss the overall project in whole. We will identify the subject at hand and what it is we are trying to accomplish with the photos or video that we will be taking. We will also discuss whether these photos and videos will best be suited from the ground or in the air? Or it may be a combination of both. This call will help set both of our expectations and allow us as a business to execute and deliver the project as per what the customers message is they are trying to convey an overall goal with the photos or video being taken.

Shot locations

After we have a strategy call, we will scout the location of the shoot to find the areas that will allow for us to obtain the photos or video that will best be suited for the project at hand.

Choose the right time of day depending on location

When taking high quality photography and videos that will be taken outside. They will have to be done at a certain time of the day to avoid glare from the sun and avoid bad photo or video conditions that can be caused by weather as well.

Plan shot sheet

We will discuss the shots that you think will best serve your needs for the project at hand. We will use this shot list on site when taking the photos or videos to make sure we are getting the proper angle or image that it is the customer looking for. We will also make any recommendations for angles or shots we may see while on site.

Discuss deliverable

After we have our footage we will put together a compilation of the best photography shots as well as video footage. All the photos and video will then be edited. We then put together a finalized copy based on your approval to meet your needs.
